Trent Hewett, DVM

Dr. Hewett is a veterinarian from Ocean Isle Beach, NC. He earned his undergraduate degree from Appalachian State University and went on to receive his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from North Carolina State University. Dr. Hewett has a strong passion for Fear Free medicine, with a special focus on creating calm, stress-free experiences for all his patients. In particular, Dr. Hewett loves working with cats and finds great satisfaction in earning the trust of even the most hesitant feline patients. He also has a keen interest in veterinary dentistry and enjoys helping animals maintain healthy teeth. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Hewett enjoys exploring the outdoors, spending quality time with his two cats, playing the piano, and traveling with his partner.
